No, and it should not be presented as though it can. Those are clinical diagnoses made from a proper assessment of the person, not from a laboratory value. The panel adds a measurable dimension to a plan; it does not replace that assessment.
Should I stop my medication before testing?
Not unless the doctor who prescribed it says so. Several medications affect these pathways, and we need to know about them so the result is interpreted correctly. But we would never ask you to stop a psychiatric medication to take a test.
What can actually be done with the result?
