Ask your questionIs NK Cell Therapy safe?
The cells returned to you are your own, so rejection is not a concern. Your suitability is screened before collection, the laboratory work is carried out to international standards, and the infusion is given under medical supervision in a licensed clinic. Any therapy carries some risk, and yours is discussed before you decide.
How long does the whole process take?
Several weeks from the blood draw to the infusion. Growing and activating the cells cannot be rushed without compromising the result. You carry on as normal during that time; only the collection and the infusion need you at the clinic.
What is the difference between pure and memory-like NK cells?
Pure NK cells are your own cells expanded in number, giving a rapid, immediate response. Memory-like NK cells are primed with cytokines during preparation so they recognize abnormal cells more sharply and, in principle, keep working longer. Which suits your case is decided at consultation.
Is this a treatment for cancer?
No. NK Cell Therapy here is used to restore immune capacity, and is never offered as a replacement for oncology care. Where a patient is already under an oncologist and wishes to use it as supportive care, we proceed only with that specialist’s knowledge and agreement.
Who should not have this therapy?
Cell Therapy is not appropriate for everyone. We review your health history and laboratory results to establish whether you are a suitable candidate, and we will say so plainly if you are not.
